Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 bone-in pork chops (each about 8 oz, 1 inch thick)
¼ cup Better Than Marinade® Honey Bourbon Barbecue
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
½ cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp Original Louisiana Brand® Hot Sauce
2 tbsp fancy molasses

Directions

  • 1

In large bowl, toss pork chops in marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour or up 8 hours in refrigerator.

  • 2

Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grates well.

  • 3

Remove pork chops from marinade and shake off any excess. Reserve marinade.

  • 4

In small saucepan set over medium heat, melt butter. Cook onion, garlic, chili powder and paprika for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is starting to soften. Add reserved marinade, tomato sauce, hot sauce and molasses; bring to a boil. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened and reduced to a syrupy glaze.

  • 5

Grill pork chops, flipping once, for 8 minutes. Brush chops with glaze and grill, flipping once, for 4 to 6 minutes or until glaze starts to caramelize and chops are grill-marked, just a blush of pink remains in the center and an instant-read thermometer registers 160°F at thickest part of chop. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Tip: Serve pork chops with grilled corn for an easy summer barbecue menu.
