Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient |
---|---|
2 tbsp | rice wine vinegar |
1 tbsp | low-sodium soy sauce |
2 tsp | cornstarch |
1 tsp | baking powder |
¼ cup | liquid honey |
2 tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base |
2 tbsp | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | sesame oil |
3 cloves | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | garlic powder |
¼ tsp | ground ginger |
3 lbs | split chicken wings |
2 | green onions, thinly sliced |
1 tbsp | sesame seeds |
Directions
In large bowl, whisk together vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch and baking powder until smooth. Add honey, Roasted Chicken Base, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, and ginger. Whisk until combined. Toss in wings until well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour at room temperature. Reserving marinade, strain wings.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line 2 large sheet pans with foil and coat with cooking spray.
Transfer wings to prepared pans and spread in single layer, spacing evenly.
Bake for 45 minutes, glazing with reserved marinade occasionally and turning after 30 minutes, or until wings are golden brown, glazed, cooked through.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Tip: Serve with crudité and ranch dressing if desired.
