Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 2.75-ounce Southeastern MillsĀ® Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix (prepare according to package directions)
1 lb ground pork, thawed
1 egg lightly beaten
2 tsp Better Than Bouillon® Baked Ham Base
1 tsp Better Than Bouillon® Chili Base
1½ tsp ground sage
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp black pepper
5 eggs (whisk eggs together with water, season to taste with salt and pepper)
1 Tbsp water
4 of your favorite bagels

Directions

  • 1

Prepare Old Fashion Peppered Gravy according to package instructions. Set aside. In a medium bowl add ground pork, egg, ham and chili bases, sage, cumin and pepper. Mix to combine.

  • 2

Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions; shape each portion into a thin patty.

  • 3

Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat.

  • 4

Place patties in skillet; do not over crowd, cook until done, about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally. To ensure proper doneness, use an instant read thermometer.

  • 5

Coat a second non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat, add eggs, cook and stir until scrambled.

  • 6

Place patties on toasted and buttered bagels, and generously top with scrambled eggs and Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix.
