1 lb | ground pork, thawed |
1 egg | lightly beaten |
2 tsp | Better Than Bouillon® Baked Ham Base |
1 tsp | Better Than Bouillon® Chili Base |
1½ tsp | ground sage |
½ tsp | ground cumin |
½ tsp | black pepper |
5 eggs | (whisk eggs together with water, season to taste with salt and pepper) |
1 Tbsp | water |
4 | of your favorite bagels |
Directions
Prepare Old Fashion Peppered Gravy according to package instructions. Set aside. In a medium bowl add ground pork, egg, ham and chili bases, sage, cumin and pepper. Mix to combine.
Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions; shape each portion into a thin patty.
Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat.
Place patties in skillet; do not over crowd, cook until done, about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally. To ensure proper doneness, use an instant read thermometer.
Coat a second non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat, add eggs, cook and stir until scrambled.
Place patties on toasted and buttered bagels, and generously top with scrambled eggs and Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix.
