Hearty Minestrone Soup

|1 lb||cooked Italian-style ground sausage|
|1 Tbsp||olive oil|
|1||small yellow onion, diced|
|2||carrots, peeled, thinly sliced|
|2||celery ribs, thinly sliced|
|1 tsp||minced garlic|
|2½ Tbsp||Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base|
|1 can||(28-ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained|
|1 can||(5.5-ounce) tomato juice|
|2 tsp||dried basil leaves|
|2 tsp||dried oregano leaves|
|¼ tsp||coarse black pepper|
|1 bag||(12-ounce) frozen green beans|
|1 can||(14.5-ounce) great northern beans, drained and rinsed|
Cook Italian sausage until done (about 10 min).
In a soup pot with oil over medium-high heat, add onion, carrots, celery and garlic; cook for 3 minutes.
Add water, Roasted Beef Base, diced tomatoes, and tomato juice; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium-low, add basil, oregano, black pepper, bay leaf, green beans and sausage. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add beans and heat through, about 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
