With all the comforting flavors of a classic lasagna, this skillet lasagna cooks in a fraction of the time.

9 | lasagna noodles, broken into thirds |
3 Tbsp | olive oil |
3 | cloves garlic, sliced |
2 cups | strained puréed tomatoes (passata) |
2 Tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Seasoned Vegetable Base |
¾ cup | ricotta cheese |
1 cup | shredded mozzarella cheese |
¼ cup | thinly sliced fresh basil |
Directions
Preheat broiler to high and position rack in middle of oven. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/3 cup cooking liquid.
Heat oil in large ovenproof skillet set over medium heat; cook garlic for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden. Stir in tomatoes and Seasoned Vegetable Base; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Add lasagna noodles and reserved cooking liquid to skillet, tossing until well coated. Stir in ricotta and Parmesan.
Sprinkle mozzarella over top; broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with basil.
Add a splash of dry white to the sauce if desired.
