Packed with a zesty lemon and garlic punch, this asparagus makes an easy side dish fit for any occasion – be it an easy weeknight supper or even a dinner party.

2 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Garlic Base
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp lemon zest
4 Tbsp lemon juice, divided
1 tsp honey
¼ tsp red chili flakes
1 lb asparagus, trimmed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425˚F. Stir together Roasted Garlic Base, olive oil, lemon zest, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, honey and chili flakes; toss with asparagus. Arrange in single layer on parchment paper–lined baking sheet.

    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until asparagus is tender-crisp. Sprinkle with remaining lemon juice.

• Substitute green beans with asparagus.
• Garnish with toasted sliced almonds for crunch.
