Smokey Grits with Creamy Goat Cheese

|1½ tsp||Better Than Bouillon® Ham Base|
|¼ tsp||ground white pepper|
|1 cup||quick grits|
|3 oz||goat cheese, cut into pieces|
In a large saucepan, bring water to a gentle boil. Add Ham Base, salt and pepper, whisk to combine; gradually pour in grits while continuously whisking.
Reduce heat to medium-low and cook and stir until grits begin to thicken, about 5-8 minutes.
Stir in butter until melted. Add goat cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
Remove from heat and serve.
